As an excellent representative of Confucius Institute of our school, Confucius College of Shuntian Township University in South Korea has developed well since its official unveiling in September 2007, with the support of the Hanban and the leaders of the two schools. In the cultural exchange activities, the Confucius Institute of Shuntian Township University has gradually created its own brand through colorful cultural activities. For example, the title of Chinese National music, Chinese Peking Opera, Chinese culture lectures, Chinese cuisine tasting meeting, Chinese tea "tasting meeting", Chinese knowledge question and answer, Chinese kung fu, musical instrument performance, drama festival, etc. were warmly welcomed by teachers and students; Student summer camps, summer Chinese cultural visits and other programs in China also provide students with the opportunity to experience Chinese culture.
Confucius Institute cooperated with the Global Business School project of Shuntian Township University and assumed the Chinese language education part of this dual-degree education. Every year, nearly 100 students with dual degrees in Chinese and business will graduate. As a result, Confucius College of Shuntian Township University directly participated in academic education and became a regular army that entered Korean college education. Actively participate in university education and cooperate with local Chinese education to achieve win-win results. In April 2008, Confucius Institute and the Department of Education of Asan City signed the "Official Studies Agreement" to provide after-school Chinese teaching for primary and secondary schools in the area.
The Confucius Institute of Shuntian Township University has also been actively seeking opportunities for cooperation with local companies. In 2010, the Chinese language course was tailor-made for Han Yihua Automobile Parts Company; In cooperation with the New World Department Store Cultural Center, a lecture on "Chinese Cultural Appreciation and Oriental Wisdom" was designed for ordinary citizens to help understand Chinese traditional culture. With the continuous increase in the number of Chinese learners, Confucius Institute has also promoted Chinese teaching from universities to high schools, carried out long-term cooperation with Zhongnan Foreign Language High School and sent permanent teachers. In November 2013, in response to the "New Sinology" project initiated by the headquarters of the National Hanban / Confucius Institute, China's research in South Korea was further promoted. With the support of the Hanban / Confucius Institute headquarters and the embassy in South Korea, our school cooperated with Shuntian Township University of South Korea. Relying on the Confucius Institute of Shuntian Township, the "Chinese Studies Research Center" was established. The center is the first Chinese-foreign cooperative research and academic exchange entity established in more than 400 Confucius Institutes in the world. It will play an important role in promoting academic exchanges and cooperation between the two universities, promoting the in-depth development of Korean research on Chinese studies, hosting international academic conferences, compiling and publishing academic journals and monographs, academic exchanges with domestic and foreign research institutions, and the development of Chinese language and culture textbooks. And ... At the same time, the center has set up a platform for overseas think tanks that "foreigners look at China" and effectively use the "outer brain" to build Chinese universities, which will promote the sustainable development of Confucius Institutes. Promoting academic research and cultural exchanges between the two countries and the two universities has far-reaching significance and leading role. It is a landmark achievement in the development of international cooperation in scientific research in our school.
