The third Confucius Institute of our school was officially unveiled on December 2, 2009 in Toulouse Confucius Institute in France. The Confucius Institute of Toulouse is currently the Confucius Institute with the largest number of students in 16 Confucius Institutes in France. Tuluzikongyuan insists on the principle of "university center, radiation surrounding" and adopts an open school model: with Toulouse as the center, it also radiates nine teaching points such as the Toulouse Political Institute and Albi University. Today, a number of teaching sites have become increasingly mature, of which the results of the Castel ISIS Engineer School are the most significant. From elective courses to the formation of credits to the establishment of academic qualifications, Castel's Chinese teaching has completed a three-level jump. Today, at the Castel ISIS Engineer School, Chinese has become a required course, and students can obtain a diploma directly linked.
The teachers of the Confucius Institute of Toulouse and the French students compiled their own Chinese teaching materials, "Chinese Communication Chinese Textbook." This textbook not only reflects "what we have", but also reflects "what French students really need" and is more suitable for the learning needs of French students.
The students of the Toulouse Confucius Institute silently won the championship in the 12th "Chinese Bridge" World College Chinese Competition in France. The silent victory was the first time that students from other provinces broke the monopoly of Paris students on the French championship of the 'Chinese Bridge' competition. From the fourth place in 2011 to the runner-up in 1992 to the champion in 2013, the students of the Confucius Institute in Toulouse continued to improve their Chinese.
The Confucius Institute of the University of Toulouse currently undertakes the work of training small language Chinese teachers at the Confucius Institute headquarters; In the language and cultural activities, it is also rich and colorful, gradually forming its own characteristics. As the Chinese language continues to heat up, it has greatly promoted the development of local Chinese language education and laid a solid foundation for the steady development of Sino-French friendship. In his toast, Mr. Pierre COHEN, Mayor of Toulouse, paid tribute to the important role played by Tuluzikongyuan in the cultural cooperation and exchange between China and France during the Spring Festival reception held in Toulouse on 7 January 2013.
In 2014, the "French-Tianjin" series of exhibitions of the Confucius Institute of Toulouse to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France was also launched in various teaching places. At the same time, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Global Confucius Institute, the Confucius Institute of Toulouse organized the World Cultural Development Day Chinese calligraphy experience.
